JOSÉ IGNACIO HUERTAS CARDOZO

He currently works at the School of Engineering and Sciences of the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), Toluca campus, with his research group on Energy and Climate Change

PhD and MSc .degrees from Washington University; mechanical engineer and master in mechanical engineering from University of the Andes, Colombia, master in business administration from ITESM.

His scientific results have included more than 100 products such as: articles in journals with international arbitration; participation in events; as well as research and consulting projects.

With undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience of about 25 years, he has been awarded business and teaching distinctions, for example, being recognized as the best researcher at the National Polytechnic Institute, ITESM; and member of the national system of researchers, level I of CONACyT

With about 600 citations with indexes Ih5 of value 15, and i10 of value 16, his research production circulates widely in ISI, Scopus and Google Scholar.


GERARDO ABEL LAGUNA SÁNCHEZ

He currently works at the Autonomous Metropolitan University, Lerma-Iztapalapa units, with his research group in Design and development of prototypes for the transmission of data through the domestic electrical line.

PhD.Doctor of Computer Science from National Polytechnic Institute (IPN); MSc in Engineering and Operations Research from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM); Bachelor of Electronics Engineering from Autonomous Metropolitan University, Lerma-Iztapalapa units

His scientific results have included articles for IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery; IEEE Transactions on Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Progress in Nuclear Energy; and Journal of Applied Research and Technology (JART) indexed in Scopus, SCIELO, DOAJ, REDALYC, Latindex, Periódica, and CONACyT.

With undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience of nearly 20 years in digital communications, computer intelligence and application of advanced digital signal processing techniques, among other subjects, he has earned several distinctions such as being recognized with the Teaching Award, DCBI, UAM Lerma; and as a full-time teacher with a desirable profile PRODEP


 

 

 

 

J. LEONARDO BOBADILLA

He currently works at the International University of Florida as an assistant professor at the School of Information and Computer Science, in the areas of Machine Learning, Planning Algorithms, and Net-centric Computing, among others.

PhD. In Computer Science, University of Illinois; MSc. In statistics of the National University of Colombia; Systems Engineer of the National University of Colombia.

His scientific results have included more than 40 products in: articles in journals such as International Journal of Next-Generation Computing, IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters, IEEE Journal of Automation Science and Engineering, ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks, among others of international circulation; and has been a speaker at events such as the IEEE International Conference on Robotic Computing, among others.

With undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience since 2013, he has been honored with distinctions such as being named Emeritus Researcher by the Illinois Student Undergraduate Research (ISUR) and the Ministry of Education of Colombia


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

NICOLA A. MAFFIULETTI

He currently works in the Human Performance Laboratory at the Schulthess Clinic in Zurich, Switzerland.

PhD. and MSc. degrees from the Faculty of Sports Sciences at the University of Burgundy, Dijon, France. Also graduated in Physical Education by the ISEF Lombardy at the University of Milan, Italy.

His scientific results have included more than 300 research products such as: scientific articles, book chapters, event reviewer, oral presentations, posters, as well as research and consulting projects.

With undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience and scientific consulting for nearly 20 years, he has been awarded business and teaching distinctions such as being recognized as a Fellow of the European School of Sports Sciences.

He has editorial experience in a wide range of scientific journals, and nearly 7,000 citations with Ih5 indexes of 45, and i10 of value 132, his research production circulates widely in ISI, Scopus and Google Scholar.


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

GABRIEL ASCANIO GASCA

He currently works at the Center for Applied Sciences and Technological Development of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), with his Research Group in Process Engineering.

He was a Postdoctoral researcher at the Polytechnic School of Montreal in Chemical Engineering; Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UNAM; Mechanical and Electrical Engineer from UNAM.

Hiss scientific results have included more than 200 products such as: articles in journals with international circulation arbitration; chapters in specialized books; patents; memories in international, regional, and national events; technological development projects; technical reports; and technological development projects.

With undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience of nearly 30 years, he has earned recognition for business and teaching, for example the highest category as a professor in the academy of Engineering, A.C. at UNAM.

Responsible for the Master and PhD Program in Engineering at UNAM.

JACKELYNNE SILVA-MARTINEZ

Currently working as a flight operations aerospace engineer in the direction of NASA Johnson Space Center in Texas
She is Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers University, Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology

She worked at the Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company and at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.

She has participated in special NASA missions in the so-called Analog Investigations in Human Exploration, such as HERA and MDRS – the latter at the Martian Desert research station in Utah.


GUILLAUME LEBLANC

Currently assigned as Technical Director of Phaxsi Solutions – Partner of Sigfox for Colombia-, Colombian company of consulting and development SW in the area of telecommunications (specialized in LTE).

Engineer in computer Systems and Telecommunications from the Superior School of Electricity (SUPELEC) in France.
Software development expert for the deployment, design and optimization of cellular networks (1G, 2G, 3G, 4G and microwave communication systems)


JOSÉ REINALDO GARCÍA GONZÁLEZ

Currently assigned to Siemens of the Industry division as Manager in Colombia.
As a Leader in Industry 4.0, he has led the production of the most modern line of high efficiency motors that are used throughout the industrial production chain; as well as the development of electrical and electronic engineering applications for technological solutions in industry, energy, health, infrastructure and cities, aimed at reducing CO2 emissions.
From its industrial role, he has advocated to promote the implementation of optimized power generation systems and according to the requirements of mining projects.


CHRISTIAN PLATA

Currently assigned to the Google Cloud Platform team as a Partner Business Manager, for Colombia and Peru.

He has a Computer Systems engineering degree from Universidad Javeriana, Specialist in networks software from U Andes and Specialist in business architecture from Universidad javeriana

ANDRÉS NAVARRO CADAVID

Currently assigned to the research group in Information Technology and Telecommunications (i2t) of the ICESI University.

PhD. In Telecommunications of the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Electronic Engineer and MSc. In Technological Management of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana.

With extensive undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience and scientific consulting for nearly 20 years, he is a Senior Member of the IEEE, and advisor to the national program of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology.
His work focuses on the planning and optimization of radio networks, including Digital TV, spectrum management and development of propagation models adapted to Andean environments, where he has adapted several existing models and participated in the planning and development of systems and 3D models for 4G and 5G using game engines.

He has extensive editorial experience in scientific journals, with about 150 citations.
