ABOUT THIS JOURNAL

The virtual journal “Góndola”, Journal of Teaching and Learning Science (Góndola, Ens.Apr.Cien.), publishes original papers as a product of; research results, documented reflections, and chronicle of experiences. This material must be related to the field on education and research about teaching and learning of natural sciences and mathematics.

“Góndola, Ens.Apr.Cien.”, has in addition, the section "life stories" in which are showed interviews or narratives by teachers, researchers or students linked to the area. This material may be both research object and, reference or update material. Similarly, in order to contribute to the diffusion and deepening of theoretical frameworks that underpin research in this area, It is presented the section "reviews", which show interest books to teachers and researchers.

“Góndola, Ens.Apr.Cien.”, has ISSN 21454981. It is published two times a year, with editions in July and December, receiving papers until May 31 for the first issue, and October 31 for the second issue of each year. Works related to Teaching and Learning Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.

It can be referenced as; “Góndola, Ens.Apr.Cien.”

 

SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES.

The virtual journal "Góndola” (Góndola, Ens.Apr.Cien.) promotes the relationship between research and teaching in the field of teaching and learning science and mathematics.

The main goal is to provide a source of professional enrichment for both practicing teachers and, for those who are being trained as a teacher in this area.

It seeks, to contribute to formation of 'teacher-researcher", and likewise help build a critical mass against diverse knowledge that circulate nowadays in the academic community. Thus, expected to provide a spot for publication and dissemination of diverse experiences and investigations being conducted in order to improve processes, and in turn provide a reference source and working materials for teachers and researchers in the area.

AUTHORS GUIDELINES.

The virtual journal “Góndola”, magazine of teaching and learning Science, (Góndola, Ens.Apr.Cien.), accepts contributions in Portuguese and Spanish.  Originals must be sent with text typed in Word or compatible software, according with the Authors guidelines.

PEER REVIEW PROCESS.

Papers submitted for publication will be reviewed in advance by the editor, if it respond to the magazine’s scope, will be sent for review by Editorial Board, with a minimum of two referees by blind review system of academic peers (peer review), who analyze it according to defined criteria.

The item will be returned to authors, if evaluators suggest changes and /or corrections. In case of divergence of views, the text will be sent to a third reviewer for arbitration.
