GLOBAL AFFAIRS PROGRAM DIRECTOR FOR THE IEEE STANDARDS ASSOCIATION (IEEE-SA)

She is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of its global startegy in different regions. She manages strategic initiatives and responses to policy developments in Europe.


JHON C. HAVENS

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE IEEE GLOBAL INITIATIVE ON ETHICS OF AUTONOMOUS AND INTELLIGENT SYSTEMSHe is Executive Director of the Council on Extended Intelligence and The IEEE Global Initiative on Ethics of Autonomous and Intelligent System  (A/IS).The initiative has two main elements: The creation and iteration of a body of work known as Ethically Aligned Design: a vision to prioritize Human Well-being with autonomy; and Intelligent Systems, with the identification and recommendation of ideas for projects, which is focused on prioritizing ethical considerations in A / IS.


JEROEN VAN DEN HOVEN

PROFESSOR OF ETHICS AND TECHNOLOGY IN THE NETHERLANDS. AUTHOR OF THE BOOK: DESIGNING IN ETHICSHe is university professor and full professor of ethics and technology at Delf university  and editor in chief of Ethics and Information Technology. He is currently the scientific director of the Delf Design for Values Institute. In 2009, he won the World Technology Award for Ethics, as well as the IFIP prize for ICT and Society for his Works in ethics and ICT. He is a permanent member of the European Group on Ethics(EGE) to the european commission.


LORENZO COTINO HUESO

PhD. and graduated in Law from the University of Valencia; MSc. In Fundamental Rights (ESADE, Barcelona), with a degree in Advanced Studies in Political Sciences (UNED).

Director since 2020 of the Public Sector Digital Transformation Observatory, as well as the Observatory’s Privacy Area, in charge of the social and ethical impact of artificial intelligence. He is also director of the first official Master of Law and ICT; and the specialization in data protection.
