International School on Plasmonics, Magnetoplasmonics, and Applications ISPMA-2019

April 29 to May 03 / Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas in cooperation with Universidad Central/ Bogotá -  Colombia

SCOPE AND GOALS

The International School on Plasmonics, Magnetoplasmonics and Applications (ISPMA-2019) aims at providing participants the fundamentals and ongoing developments on  light-nanostructured systems interaction phenomena. In addition, ISPMA-2019 aims to boost this research field in the region and to promote the cooperation between Colombian and foreign research institutions.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

The structure of the school encompasses three main activities:
  • Invited and plenary talks (open to all registered participants).
  • Poster session (open to all registered participants). Participants are encouraged to apply even with preliminary results. Download the abstract template (.doc)

PARTICIPATION

Accordingly, ISPMA-2019 attempts to encourage advanced undergraduates, masters, and doctoral students, as well as young researchers to start the fascinating road of scientific research in the field of light-nanostructured systems interaction. Based on the submitted applications, the Committee will select up to 40 participants to be admitted in the courses. The rest of activities (plenary and invited talks, poster session, and exhibitions) are open to all participants (including those already registered in courses). Presenting authors (poster session) will have priority for the courses attendance. Lectures will be delivered by a select group of worldwide recognized experimental and theoretical scientists (Keynote speakers).
